Dr. Eamonn Wooster is a postdoctoral fellow at the Gulbali Institute at Charles Sturt University. He completed his PhD in 2022 at the University of Technology Sydney. He was then awarded a Gulbali postdoctoral fellowship, which he is currently undertaking with Prof. Dale Nimmo. His work combines field research with meta-analytic and macro-ecological approaches to understand biotic interactions in a changing world, from individuals to species. He received the 2025 Ecological Society of Australia’s “Next Generation Ecologist Award”, the top honour for an Early Career Ecologist in Australia. Eamonn will be starting an ARC DECRA Fellowship in 2026.
